About We Rock the Spectrum Lakewood

Bernardo and Courtney Castaneda live in Dallas, TX, with their two sons, River and Emilio. Together, they bring over 30 years of combined experience in corporate strategy, consulting, communications, and marketing. They decided to open a We Rock the Spectrum gym in the East Dallas area to create a space within the community where all families are welcome.

Finding community at the start of a diagnosis journey is so profoundly impactful for the entire family’s health and well-being, so the opportunity to create that space to foster those connections among East Dallas families is a privilege. During their own journey, they spent countless hours at a We Rock the Spectrum gym, watching their boys relax and enjoy a place where they didn’t have to apologize or feel out of place.

As a native of Mexico and a fluent Spanish speaker, Bernardo is especially excited about being able to offer a bilingual experience at their location, making it even more accessible and welcoming to the diverse community that is East Dallas.

Juntos tienen más de 30 años de experiencia combinada en estrategia corporativa, consultoría, comunicaciones, y mercadotecnia. Ellos decidieron abrir un gimnasio We Rock the Spectrum en el área de East Dallas para crear un espacio dentro de la comunidad donde todas las familias se sientan bienvenidas.

Encontrar una comunidad al inicio de un proceso de un diagnóstico tiene un impacto profundo en la salud y bienestar de toda la familia. Por eso, tener la oportunidad de crear ese espacio para fomentar esas conexiones entre las familias de East Dallas es un verdadero privilegio. En su propia experiencia, ellos pasaron muchisimas horas en un gimnasio We Rock the Spectrum, viendo a sus niños relajarse y disfrutar de un lugar donde no tenían que disculparse o sentirse fuera de lugar.

Como nativo de México y bilingüe en Español, Bernardo está especialmente emocionado de poder ofrecer una experiencia bilingüe en su ubicación, haciendo el espacio aún más accesible y acogedor para la comunidad diversa que es East Dallas.
